Polypropylene mesh rope, as one of the products of mesh rope factories, is highly sought after by consumers. Polypropylene has higher hardness and melting point than PE material, but polypropylene material is more brittle at lower temperatures. Therefore, when manufacturing tie ropes, irregular ethylene copolymers ranging from 1% to 4% are usually added. Polymer type PP materials have lower thermal distortion temperature, low transparency, low glossiness, and low rigidity, but they have stronger impact strength. The strength of PP increases with the increase of ethylene content, and its softening temperature is 150 degrees Celsius. Due to its high crystallinity, this material has excellent surface stiffness and scratch resistance, and there is no problem of environmental stress cracking. To determine the quality of polypropylene mesh rope, it depends on the purity of polypropylene. Pure polypropylene production presents a fully transparent state, while those produced with masterbatch are semi transparent, while those produced with recycled materials are basically opaque. There is also a type of fully recycled material and calcium carbonate powder sandwich material produced, which is relatively soft. The binding rope of the sandwich material is only made of raw material on the surface, and the rest is made of lime powder.
